Storm Debris Removal Update

The Board of Directors for Harris County Municipal Utility District 449 (HCMUD 449) has coordinated a special out-of-contract truck route to pick up bagged storm debris only. HCMUD 449 will be covering the cost of this special service; it will not affect residents’ monthly garbage rate.

Best Trash will begin collecting bagged storm debris only on Thursday, August 1, 2024. Please have your bagged storm debris prepared and placed at the curb for collection by 7:00 a.m.

Important Note: These dedicated trucks will only collect bagged debris. Household trash will not be picked up by these trucks nor will bundled tree limbs. Because this is a regular trash day, please keep the regular trash separated from the storm debris by 3 ft
